BATTERY IMPEDANCE METER BT4560
DESCRIPTION
Hioki benchtop battery testers support simultaneous high-speed measurement in the ever-expanding production lines of increasingly larger lithium-ion low resistance batteries. The BT4560 battery impedance tester measures the impedance of lithium-ion batteries using the low-frequency AC-IR measurement method without charging and discharging the battery, substantially reducing the time needed to inspect the internal resistance of battery cells.
Key Features
- Low-frequency AC-IR measurement* : Measure the reaction resistance of a battery
*The BT4560 ensures battery cell quality by measuring internal impedance at a low frequency of 1 Hz or below - Extremely reliable measurements for low-impedance batteries
*The BT4560 uses a testing current of 1.5 A at the 3mΩ range, which improves the S/N ratio - Circuit configuration highly tolerant of contact and wire resistance to provide stable measurements
- Voltage measurement function equivalent to 6-digit DMM (± 0.0035% rdg.)
MANAGE ELECTRODE REACTION RESISTANCE, ELECTROLYTE RESISTANCE, AND WELDING RESISTANCE TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF BATTERY CELL INSPECTIONS
Set your own measurement frequency between 100 mHz and 1.05 kHz ○ Use low frequencies to measure electrode reaction resistance ○ Use high frequencies to measure electrolyte resistance and welding resistance ○ Create Cole-Cole plots (with bundled application program) ○ Use equivalent circuit analytic software to analyze internal battery defects
MEASURE VERY LOW IMPEDANCES OF 1MΩ OR LESS
Some high-capacity Li-ion batteries have an internal impedance less than 1 mΩ. The BT4560 is designed to measure very low impedances of 1mΩ or less with high stability and reproducibility.
DEDICATED PROBES FOR FOUR-TERMINAL PAIR MEASUREMENT REDUCE THE MAGNETIC FLUX GENERATED
Probes with a four-terminal pair structure provide very stable measurement that is less affected by environmental noise or cabling.
